This year, they will jointly host two Palestinian Christians to serve as Missionary-in-Residence Peace Interns\u00a0alongside DPF&#8217;s three domestic interns.\u00a0\u00a0Disciples Peace Fellowship is excited to participate with the Global Ministries\u2019 Middle East Initiative\u00a0in this way.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Shomali and Minerva Halteh, two young Palestinian women nominated by the YWCA of Palestine, a partner through Global Ministries, will accompany Disciples Peace Fellowship\u2019s domestic interns to camps and conferences this summer. Look for Rachel and Minerva\u2019s biographies in the upcoming NewsNotes from Disciples Peace Fellowship, as well as\u00a0more information about DPF\u2019s\u00a02016\u00a0domestic interns, Naiomi Gonzalez, Matthew Capestro and Lexie Ofe.<\/p>\n<p>The interns will begin their summer on\u00a0June 1st\u00a0in Indianapolis, Indiana, taking part in Global Ministries\u2019 Missionary Conference,\u00a0as well as Disciples Peace Fellowship\u2019s Intern Training Week. The remainder of the interns\u2019 summer schedules have not yet been confirmed, but will be published on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dpfweb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">dpfweb.org<\/a>\u00a0when they are announced.
