{"id":29495,"date":"2015-02-06T19:24:43","date_gmt":"2015-02-07T00:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.globalministries.org\/give_endowment_funds_morse_family_endowment\/"},"modified":"2021-02-11T14:53:14","modified_gmt":"2021-02-11T19:53:14","slug":"give_endowment_funds_morse_family_endowment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.globalministries.org\/give_endowment_funds_morse_family_endowment\/","title":{"rendered":"Morse Family Endowment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><em>Morse Family Endowment<\/em><\/strong> was established with the Division of Overseas Ministries in 2014 at the request of Tom and Lynnea Morse in order to provide resources for mission personnel support, and for the overall work of Global Ministries.<\/p>\n<p>Tom and Lynnea Morse served as Global Ministries mission personnel for five years (2007-2012) with the Amity Foundation in China, with Reverend Dr. Xiaoling Zhu as their Area Executive.\u00a0 Moreover, Tom Morse\u2019s twin brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Erin Morse, served as Global Mission Interns with the partner Caminante in the Dominican Republic (2007-2008) and (2008-2009), with Reverend Felix Ortiz-Cotto as their Area Executive.\u00a0 Given the formative and meaningful time in their lives that mission service with Global Ministries signified to them, Lynnea and Tom Morse established the <strong><em>Morse Family Endowment<\/em><\/strong> in honor of all the individuals mentioned above, in order to support the presence of persons in mission with international partners, and to support the overall work of Global Ministries now and in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund online at <a href=\"https:\/\/donate.globalministries.org\/onlinegiving\">https:\/\/donate.globalministries.org\/onlinegiving<\/a> or by check written to the Division of Overseas Ministries and sent to:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Division of Overseas Ministries<br \/>P.O.
