{"id":36297,"date":"2014-12-22T01:53:56","date_gmt":"2014-12-22T06:53:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.globalministries.org\/give_endowment_funds_ortiz_cruzado_family_fund\/"},"modified":"2014-12-22T01:53:56","modified_gmt":"2014-12-22T06:53:56","slug":"give_endowment_funds_ortiz_cruzado_family_fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.globalministries.org\/give_endowment_funds_ortiz_cruzado_family_fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Ortiz Cruzado Family Fund for Global Ministries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><em>Ortiz Cruzado Family Fund for Global Ministries <\/em><\/strong>was established in 2008 at the request of F\u00e9lix Ortiz-Cotto and Mar\u00eda Esther Cruzado, who at that point had served Global Ministries for almost 25 years in Latin America and the Caribbean, and in the United States. Felix and Mar\u00eda Esther served in Paraguay, Haiti, the Caribbean, and Central America (1985-2003) in a wide variety of church, ecumenical, and service settings, and then went on to serve on the home-based Global Ministries in Indianapolis.\u00a0 During these years they learned from global partner churches and ecumenical organizations about the meaning of being a church in the midst of desperation and hopelessness.\u00a0 At the same time they were able to celebrate the joyfulness of God\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n<p>By establishing the <strong><em>Ortiz Cruzado Family Fund for Global Ministries<\/em><\/strong> F\u00e9lix Ortiz-Cotto and Mar\u00eda Esther Cruzado, together with their sons Ernesto A. and F\u00e9lix E. Ortiz Cruzado, wish to share and connect their resources in a permanent way to the ministries of Global Ministries and to the people that have formed them.<\/p>\n<p>Distributions from the <strong><em>Ortiz Cruzado Family Fund for Global Ministries<\/em><\/strong> will provide resources in a permanent basis for the ministry of Global Ministries in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p>Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund at any time.\u00a0Gifts for the <strong><em>Ortiz Cruzado Family Fund for Global Ministries<\/em><\/strong> may be made online <a href=\"https:\/\/donate.globalministries.org\/onlinegiving\">https:\/\/donate.globalministries.org\/onlinegiving<\/a> or by check written to the Division of Overseas Ministries and directed to:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Global Ministries<br \/>P.O.
