The Myers-Brown\/Brown Endowment <\/strong>was established as a Wider Church Ministries endowment fund in 2021 at the request of Reverend Joyce Myers-Brown in honor of her family’s connections to the wider church. Both Joyce and her husband, Reverend Edward Martin Brown III served the wider church in many capacities. Joyce served as a mission co-worker of a predecessor mission body of Global Ministries with the Evangelical Congregational Church in Angola (IECA) and believes deeply in the importance of worldwide partnerships facilitated by Global Ministries. Throughout her ministry, she has worked and advocated for women in the church. Ed also served the church in international ministry, serving twice in France, the latter time as a co-ministry position with Joyce. He too had a deep appreciation for the work, partnerships, and values of Global Ministries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Myers-Brown\/Brown Endowment <\/strong>provides support for the work of Global Ministries partners in Africa in general as well as the work of the Evangelical Congregational Church in Angola, with an emphasis on supporting women\u2019s leadership and work addressing women\u2019s issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund at any time. Gifts for the Myers-Brown\/Brown Endowment <\/strong>should be directed by check written to Wider Church Ministries and sent to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
